My Offer

My teaching style is not characterized by one I am not characterized by a specific teaching, but by my own combination of different teachings from teachers who have inspired, inspired and driven me on my personal path.
I teach in the style of Hatha Yoga Flow, which means that you will encounter both static, powerful positions and flowing, dynamic transitions. Through the combination of both, you can find grounding, strength and calm as well as flexibility and softness in your yoga session. In my verbal instructions and adjustments, I attach great importance to the correct physical execution of the individual asanas (physical exercises) in synchronization with your breathing, so that you can feel correctly aligned and safe at all times.

Private yoga classes

Private yoga classes, whether alone or as a couple, are tailored to your individual needs. After a free preliminary talk in which we discuss your physical and mental requirements and goals, I will create the right yoga classes for you.

I use different facets and methods of yoga to design either dynamic, invigorating classes, relaxing sessions (e.g. YinYoga, meditation) or a combination of both, depending on your needs.

Company Yoga

I offer customized yoga classes for companies - before work, during the lunch break or after work. Whether one-off events or regular offers, also Yoga workshops are possible.
Yoga classes, including meditation and breathing exercises, promote physical and mental health, motivation, stress tolerance, concentration and social interaction.

Events

Yoga can enrich various events by tailoring yoga sessions to your needs and wishes, connecting the group and allowing everyone to come into their own.
Shared yoga classes strengthen group spirit and social interaction, as people are often much more relaxed and open towards each other after practicing yoga.
For your event, a yoga session can be included at the beginning, as a break or at the end, during which the participants can actively regenerate and relax.
The event can be of many different kinds. From bachelor parties and festivals to birthdays (also possible as a gift voucher) or other types of get-togethers, yoga is always good for you.

Lectures, workshops

Health and well-being are the basis of our quality of life and yet we often take them for granted in everyday life. However, well-being and a holistic, conscious and healthy lifestyle require an active approach to health-related topics. That's why I love giving talks and seminars on precisely these topics.
I design my seminars and workshops interactively with a combination of theoretical knowledge in the form of scientifically sound, state-of-the-art findings and practical applications for self-awareness of the methods.

Lectures and workshops on yoga and health-related topics can be used in a variety of ways within and outside the company to give employees/people a gift to support their health and well-being.
In my experience, the time invested in gaining and applying new methods and insights into holistic living always pays off in the long term.

Possible topics for presentations and/or workshops could include the following:

  • Introduction to yoga philosophy: What does the traditional wisdom of yoga say about how health and well-being can be achieved? 
  • The influence of yoga on our psyche and our lives
  • Anatomical alignment of the individual asanas (physical exercises)
  • How can mindfulness be practiced (in everyday life)?
  • How can self-awareness be practiced through yoga? 
  • Lifelong learning in the modern meritocracy: a curse or a blessing for our well-being and health? 
  • The influence of yoga on adult learning 
  • Health psychological aspects of well-being
  • The influence of exercise on our well-being

Travel & Retreats

In recent years, I have been able to accompany various trips with yoga and meditation classes. These include ski/snowboard camps with SkiClub Taunus and SkiGaudi in Austria and surf trips with Wavetours, for which I was able to teach for several months in France.
I have also co-organized several retreats in Croatia and taught yoga and meditation there.

My experience on all these trips has consistently shown that yoga is an excellent way to complement (sports) trips and thus offer a broad-based concept.
My yoga classes are tailored to the respective requirements of the sport (e.g. skiing/snowboarding, surfing) of the participants in order to complement them in the best possible way.
Mobilization, warm-up, stretching and relaxation techniques individually tailored to the sporting activity improve mobility, mindfulness and regeneration for the respective sport and thus round off the (sports) experience of the trip holistically.

Yoga retreats, in which introspection and connection with oneself and others is encouraged through various (yoga) techniques, have the potential to transform one's life in the long term.

Sup Yoga

In cooperation with OnWater, I offer SUP yoga courses in the Mainz customs harbor.
Why yoga on the SUP?

Practicing yoga on a stand up paddle board has great advantages: On the one hand, the constant balancing movements required to keep your balance particularly address and train the deep muscles. Even with relatively simple movements, your muscles are sure to remember what you've done for a few days after your SUP yoga class.

Secondly, SUP yoga allows us to connect with the element of water, which carries us through the yoga practice instead of the earth. The water beneath and beside us demands our full concentration in every little movement on the board, inevitably bringing our attention into the present moment. And this is precisely what we ultimately want to achieve with our yoga practice: complete presence and mindfulness in the here and now.
The water is therefore both the challenge and our teacher, not only on a physical level, but above all on a mental level. So what may seem like just another "yoga trend" at first glance, in my opinion has a profound effect and helps us to experience yoga in a new and playful way. Inspired by the feeling of being carried by the water, you will probably feel strong and light at the same time after your SUP yoga experience.
